Job Description

Under the direction of the VP, North America and SVP, Global Security, the Sr. Director plans, develops and directs the corporation's protective operations function. Develops, manages and executes protective operations programs for the Chairman & CEO, members of the Board of Directors and other PEP senior executives.
Responsible for all protective operations deliverables to include personal protection, corporate facilities, residence, and event security, ground and air transportation, personal assistance and special projects.
Manages on and off-site planning, coordination and execution of strategies for visiting dignitaries to include the Board of Directors, CEO's of other organizations, major account customers, political leaders and others.
Directs the planning and execution of major corporate events and visits by dignitaries and VIP guests of the organization to ensure a safe environment.
Develops and implements protective operations objectives, and procedures. Implements the policies, procedures and systems required for maintaining and enhancing the overall organization's protective operations organizational mission.
Develops and documents standards of measurement of quality and effectiveness of the program.
Develops and maintains liaison and coordination a wide range of local, state and federal agencies.
Determines the need for, and manages the procurement, installation and operational instruction of, security equipment required at the residence, vacation homes or offices of executives.
Develops and maintains personal profiles and conducts risk assessments for all personnel covered by the protective operations program.
Identifies groups, individuals and emerging technologies that may pose a threat to executives. Keeps management informed on significant areas of concern.
Conducts security related investigations and training globally as necessary and required.


Qualifications:
Experience and training in a government intelligence, law enforcement or protective service agency is required, e.g. Secret Service, FBI, State Department, etc.
Experience in conducting security advances in North American and International locations.
Sharp and flexible, proven track record of creativity and problem solving
Excels in high intensity, fast paced environments
Ability to proactively engage with the Global Security Team as well as with senior executives
