Manager of Executive Protection

Responsibilities:


Provide personal close protection for C-Suite Senior level executives
Conduct risk assessment for Senior level executive activities
Advance and assess all locations both domestic and international
Create detailed trip assessments of all Senior level executive travel both domestic and international locations
Coordinate and analyze all ground transportation for Senior level executives
Organize security at all venues, buildings, sporting events and restaurants
Coordinate and manage security at private airports to assist with arrival and departure of flights
Create processes and procedures surrounding cyber and social media security
Participate in the evaluation of background checks and interviews for all employees/vendors that interact with Senior level executives.
Work closely with other functional leaders and contractors regarding the interaction of security and facilities issues.

Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Local, State, Federal law enforcement and emergency response government agencies.
Ability to assess new security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, intrusion detection, incident response, security policy creation, and enterprise security strategies.

Qualifications:

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in a senior level law enforcement, corporate security, military or related role (City, State, FBI, ATF, or Secret Service)
Minimum of 60 advanced educational credits required
Demonstrated progression with a law enforcement agency
Intimate knowledge of cyber and social media security
Must display active relationships with law enforcement agencies worldwide
Ability to compile and execute company and departmental standard operating procedures and procedures (SOP’s).
Demonstrated past experience working alongside C-Suite Executives
Ability to effectively articulate security and budgetary initiatives
Must have the ability to develop team members and effectively grow a security program
Ability to document investigative, tactical or analytical training
Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a budget and working with vendor relations
Excellent verbal & written communication, organizational and time management skills required
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary
Must have the ability to work independently when necessary, and use sound business judgment
Ability to present an uplifting personality while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics
Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency
Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment
Adept at maintaining a positive, open, approachable, and professional relationship with a diverse group

Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed (Ability to travel in/out of the US)



Education:
Candidates who have completed 60 credits of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred.
