Overview and Responsibilities
Viacom Inc. is seeking a professional and dependable Security Driver to join our Security team. The Security Driver will provide secure transportation and protective services to senior level executives. The primary roundtrip driving route will be from Norwalk, Connecticut to Manhattan, NY. This role will also provide backup with various security team requests as needed. Specific responsibilities include:
Transport Viacom executives safely to their destination(s). Most mornings will start by driving from Norwalk, CT to Manhattan and return from Manhattan to Norwalk, CT. in the evening.
Be punctual and in the agreed upon pick up and drop off locations as required.
Advise the VP of Executive Security of any unusual circumstances found during an advance or transportation service.
Responsible for maintaining the company vehicle and ensure that it receives proper maintenance, service, and cleaning as needed.
Assist with planning, coordination, administrative, and project work as needed/directed.
Provide security services/coverage at special events, company meetings, movie premieres, and other occasions where security coverage is necessary.
Basic Qualifications
10 years of security experience.
Minimum 5 of the 10 years providing executive protection, dignitary protection, and/or driving services to high profile clientele.
The schedule (hours / days of work) for this position will vary week to week and the person in this position must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent driving record
Additional Qualifications
A security background, law enforcement background, or extensive background of providing driving services to a high profile individual is desired for this position.
Ability to have flexible schedule based on business needs
