Director, Corporate Security

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education in Security Administration or Management, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Law, or equivalent field, a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications desired and advanced degree preferred.
· A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in a private sector multi-national corporate security organization or related public sector experience, of which at least 5 years must be in a senior leadership role.
· Substantial knowledge of principles, theories, concepts, and industry best practices applicable to compliance, BCP and/or security programs.
· International and domestic travel estimated to be 20%

Knowledge/Experience/Skill:

· International business experience with a strong working knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community, interacts internally and externally with executive level management on all matters requiring negotiation of critical matters.

· Persuasive and articulate leader who is able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, business leaders and senior management, politically astute but not politically motivated.

· Experience and knowledge in protection against counterfeiting in supply chain and distribution networks.

· Exceptional team-building skills, collaborative and process-management skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; effective critical thinking, inductive and deductive reasoning and judgment/decision making skills; results oriented and unquestioned personal and business integrity.

· Pertinent analytical experience with business continuity planning, auditing, and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiations.

· Comprehensive business and technical knowledge and organizational skills to oversee highly complex projects with high visibility and impact on the business.

· Experience developing programs and policies in GxP environments highly desirable.

· Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy

· Working collaboratively with a diverse array of multicultural and multinational clients, customers, and providers.

· Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through

· Familiarity and knowledgeable utilizing and working with CMMS, IWMS, LMS, QMS or similar management systems experience required.

· Team player with a record of accomplishment of successful collaboration with business managers and related expertise areas such as Facilities and EH&S, experience operating in a fast paced and challenging matrixed environment preferred.
