We are currently recruiting several Swedish nationals for position as Close Protection Officers (CPO) for projects in Somalia and neighbouring countries. Previous experience from the region is meriting.
Job description
As Close Protection Officer (CPO) you will be responsible for risk management, security planning as well as management and implementation of all security related activities within your project. You will be working in a team environment where you are expected to display excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and service delivery to the highest level of industry standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
Close protection and protective surveillance
Liaison with support elements, project stakeholders and local community
Respond to security incidents and manage crisis situations
Up-date client and organization operations centre on progress and situational developments
Manage the implementation of physical and procedural security measures
Deliver project specific security training
Basic requirements
Nationality Swedish
Age Minimum 25 years
Medical Physically fit and in good health
Languages : Fluency in spoken and written English
Training : Close Protection
Computer literacy : MS Office
License qualifications and ratings
Certificate of service (Armed forces / Law enforcement) honourable discharge
Other qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience is required
Candidates must also present a clean criminal background check or record
Experience from work in Somalia or neighbouring countries is meriting
Registered nurse or paramedic is meriting, but not a requirement
University degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) is meriting, but not a requirement
Prior to employment, additional internal vetting including personal interviews and background checks will be conducted. Successful candidates must present a valid psychological screening certificate (can be provided through LEAP AB).
